AVT's (Advanced Vision Technology) Jet-IQ inspection system has been chosen by Mark Andy to provide print quality and control for its Digital Series hybrid inkjet label press.
The Jet-IQ system is a closed loop solution for digital inkjet presses which works with press controllers to maintain heightened print quality.
In addition to providing high print quality at high speeds, the solution offers quick set-up and full reporting functionalities. As a result, presses can confidently run not only faster but more frequently.
The system features an innovative nozzle performance and colour control to increase press productivity, and it can verify geometric parameters such as colour to colour registration, image placement and printing defects detection. Jet-IQ also monitors the integrity of both permanent and variable content, classifying possible print defects and automatically initiating corrective measures.
'AVT is a proven supplier of comprehensive inspection and press control solutions, and we look forward to extending their expertise into our digital hybrid solutions,' stated Tom Schelmbauer, vice president of engineering, Mark Andy. 'Their experts have been working closely with our product development team to understand the needs of our customer base and deliver high-quality inspection and quality management on our Digital Series hybrid press solution.'
Amir Sheinman, AVT's vice president of marketing, said, 'We are honoured to partner with Mark Andy in integrating one of our premier print quality control solutions on its line of premium digital hybrid presses. The combination gives customers next-generation press automation and quality control, allowing for faster and more confident production practices in the growing digital printing sector.'
