Andreas Käfferlein, sales director
Machine manufacturer Kama has appointed Andreas Käfferlein as its new sales director. Mr Käfferlein takes over from Ronald Lein, who is taking early retirement after 30 years in the printing industry.
In his 13 years with Kama, Mr Lein opened up new markets for the company's converting and embellishment solutions, particularly in the US, Europe and Latin America.
Mr Käfferlein brings 30 years of experience in the printing industry, most recently in international sales and key account assignments at Europe's market leader for overprint varnishes, Actega Terra. Before that, Mr Käfferlein was responsible for machine acceptance of printing technology in product quality management at Koenig & Bauer, where he worked for 10 years as a trained industrial foreman.
In his new role Mr Käfferlein seeks to strengthen Kama's international distribution channels for the job printing and packaging segments to expand partnerships, focusing on the Near and Far East as well as the emerging African continent.
