Zünd's laser cutter module will be on show in Birmingham
Four different cutting systems from Zünd will be on display at Sign & Digital UK next week, demonstrating a range of applications including textile finishing.
Three of the Swiss-manufactured cutting tables will be on display on Zünd's own stand (K30): a G3 3XL 1600 will show textile finishing for soft signage and related applications; routing and polishing on a G3 L2500 which has a pneumatic clamping system and can rout to a depth of 50mm in a variety of materials will also feature; automation will be demonstrated via a S3 L2000 table fitted with a robotic arm that can pick cut parts off the machine bed so that the operator can work on setting up the next job.
The fourth Zünd unit will be seen on Canon's stand (H10). This will be an S3 M1600 that will be cutting both rigid and roll-fed materials in an "almost seamless" workflow with Canon wide-format printers.
Matthew Tillett, sales manager Zünd UK, said: 'The four Zünd tables on display at the NEC this April will demonstrate excellently the versatility of the Zünd range in general and these machines specifically; fitted with different tools and modules, visitors will be able to see just some of the many options open to them.'
