Drytac's new Protac Anti-Scratch Gloss film
Drytac has expanded its range of films with the introduction of Protac Anti-Scratch Gloss.
The clear PET laminating film features a scratch-resistant hard coat with a high gloss finish, designed to add depth, detail and protection for printed graphics. Protac Anti-Scratch Gloss is coated on one side with a pressure-sensitive, solvent acrylic adhesive with a PET release liner for the protection and enhancement of any application where a durable, mirror-like finish is desired, for example photographs and inkjet prints.
Shaun Holdom, global product manager, commented, 'We're delighted to add this new solution to our product range. Drytac Protac Anti-Scratch Gloss can be used with cold or heat assisted laminators and features a high-performance adhesive for the lamination of output from (eco)solvent, latex and UV printers. Its formulation ensures that the final printed output has zero shrinkage, high clarity and is resistant to chemicals. The adhesive is a solvent-based permanent acrylic which means it has good moisture resistance, and additionally, the siliconised polyester liner ensures a smoother finish.'
