Testing the new Xeikon dashboard
To cope with growing demand for digital print, CS Labels has increased capacity by investing in another Xeikon CX3 digital printing press, replacing an existing 3500 model.
The four CX3 presses now operating will be complemented by the new 520mm-wide Xeikon CX500 in a few months' time when beta testing commences at the company's Willenhall facility in the West Midlands.
The company is also taking part in the beta test of Xeikon's new dashboard control system, which analyses the print performance of each digital press in detail, by the minute.
Furthermore as part of its business process improvement and continuous productivity enhancement ethos, CS Labels has installed a productivity pack for its Grafisk Maskinfabrik DC330 converting line to optimise speed and output.
'We continue to grow, innovate and change in all facets of the business in order to look after our customer base at the highest possible level,' said managing director Simon Smith. 'Technology is changing rapidly and businesses can be assured that we're on top of our game when it comes to selecting the appropriate 'tool for the job' that will perfectly harmonise with our processes and people-centred business culture. I'm delighted that 2018 is already a ground-breaking year, however I also look forward to us making more announcements in the coming months.'
